Being an expert is not enough
For many years, I worked on high-end, multi-million pound projects winning awards and keeping developers happy. Yet something wasn't right, I was missing the personal touch.
Homes are where memories are made, and I wanted a piece of that in my designs. I moved away from arguments with big developers in order to design useful, soulful family homes that make people smile.
It was that pull for more control over the work I produced along with my wife’s unwavering support that resulted in the birth of Human Architecture Studio.
And I've never looked back.

Success is personal
I care deeply about the homes we create and the people we create them for. Crafting spaces that take your breath away while quietly improving everyday life takes time and I believe that’s more than okay.
I choose to take on a small number of projects each year so that every detail, every decision, every drawing and every conversation is handled by me personally. I don’t pass the book, I don’t outsource and I don’t hand your project to a trainee. If we work together, I am your architect from start to finish.
To me, success isn’t about volume or chasing the latest treads, it’s about creating homes that will still feel right in 100 years. Our homes are designed with care, built with integrity and can be passed onto the next generation with pride.
