The Studio

Ashley, director and founder of HUMAN Architecture Studio, started the practice in 2020 following a career working throughout the UK and overseas.

Ashley’s friendly approach to clients extends to a desire to understand people and in particular how people interact with space. His pragmatic, sensitive and playful approach to architecture helps to shape the practice and the work it does.

Ashley is a UK (RIBA) qualified architect and has worked for a number of practices from the very small to the very large including the 5th largest practice in the world, Aedas, which took him as far as Alexandria on the North coast of Egypt.

Prior to setting up HUMAN Architecture Studio, Ashley worked closer to home as Project Architect for award-winning practice shedkm Architects based in Liverpool and London were he led the construction of the groundbreaking Mansion House development at New Islington, Manchester.

Whether working for charitable organisations, local councils, homeowners or on multi-million pound developments, Ashley develops a unique connection and relationship with his clients which ensures a considered, well executed and personal building project regardless of scale.
